Hi Tommy,

Yes you have the procedure correct. Yes it is a bit complex, but it is usually a one time thing. We considered removing the requirement to use HydroFLASH as the SSID, letting it join any unsecured network so that all you would need to do is just bring down your encryption, configure it and turn it back on but there is always the chance that it might join the wrong network, frustrating the user.

Hi Tommy,

HydroFLASH is only accessed/controlled via the Mobile App or via Web Interface.

Hi Tommy,

The serial interface is for Insteon device control (Lights, Garage Doors, Gates, Thermostats, etc).

OK dumb question. I know it doesn't have it, but if you wanted to couldn't you just hook up a bunch of switches in parallel?
