Rain delay

Installed my wired unit today and got it working (pretty much) on the first try. Very impressed! The only thing is that the unit keeps canceling the programs due to a rain event. Since we haven't gotten any rain in the last 24 hours, nor is any in the forecast, something is not right. Current settings:

METAR Data Rain Options Enabled: unchecked
METAR Weather Station Identifier: KFIT
METAR 24 Hour Precipitation Total - Rain Delay Trigger Level in Hundredths (1 = .01") Range 1 to 100: 100 (in an attempt to really make sure unit wouldn't trigger a rain event)
ONLY Use METAR Precipitation 24 Hour Total to Trigger Rain Delay (Unchecked will use all METAR Rain detection methods): checked
NOAA Data Probability of Precipitation Options Enabled: unchecked
NOAA Probability of Precipitation Threshold - Entered in Percent, Range 1 to 100: 100 (in an attempt to really make sure unit wouldn't trigger a rain event)
NOAA Probability of Precipitation Days in Advance Threshold - Entered in Days, Range 1 to 6: 2
Rain Sensor Input Select (Default setting is Normally Open, Un-Checked = Normally Closed): blank
Rain Sensor & AutoRain Delay Time Hours (1-99 Hrs): 1 (tried 0, but defaults to this)

Iphone status is always switching back to "Rain delay active: 1 hour remaining" even after I manually select "rain delay off". It goes to "system normal for a few seconds", but then back to "rain delay..."

Any advice?

Pete

Hi,

If you are not using a rain sensor then leave the check box checked otherwise it will think that a rain sensor is triggering the input. You seem to indicate that it is un-checked (blank?).

Please send support@hydroflash.net an email with a good contact number and we will call you right now to help.

Follow up to this post.

Rain Sensor type was set to "normally closed" (Option was Un-checked) and was always triggering the rain sensor event input.
Rain Sensor was not currently connected.

Thanks,
